Many organisations in the nature and ecology sector hold deep expertise, but lack the digital tools to unlock its full potential. WildInsight bridges that gap — as advisor, product manager and innovation partner.
WildInsight bridges the gap between ecology and technology. Many organisations in the nature and biodiversity sector hold deep ecological expertise but lack the digital tools to unlock its full potential. Meanwhile, tech companies build powerful solutions without truly understanding the ecological context. WildInsight connects both worlds.
Behind WildInsight is Mark Stoetzer: computer scientist (Eindhoven University of Technology), years of experience as a software developer and product manager, and in recent years fully focused on the nature and ecology sector. He has worked with NDFF (the Dutch national biodiversity database), Radboud University and Faunabit, among others.
My strength lies in moving fluently between the world of the ecologist and that of the developer — and in translating that into real products and organisational change. I work Agile and believe in getting things done.
My ambition is clear: to contribute to technological solutions that strengthen the nature and ecology sector — as product manager, advisor or project lead making a difference at the intersection of technology and ecology.
From strategic advice to software and innovative measurement solutions — WildInsight supports organisations in the nature and ecology sector on multiple fronts.
I help organisations in the nature and ecology sector to understand and strategically apply technology. From stakeholder management and chain coordination to product strategy and digital transformation. As a freelance advisor and product manager, I build the bridge others cannot — because I speak both languages.

The combination of deep technical expertise and real ecological experience is rare. That is precisely what WildInsight brings to the table.
Not just a technical advisor, but someone who truly knows the ecological context — from field work and biodiversity data to regulations and research methods.
MSc Computer Science (TU/e), 15+ years in software and product development. I know what is technically feasible — and how to actually make it happen.
I bring stakeholders together and get organisations moving. From ecologists and developers to policymakers and end users — I speak everyone’s language.
Agile mindset, “getting things done” attitude. I switch contexts fast and stay focused on what works — not on what sounds good in theory.
